1. Have something for us to show and post about.
Bear in mind, owVideogames isn't a news site (we leave that sort of thing to indiegames.com or what have you) so we don't post everything that passes our way. It's important to us that we find the great things to tell our readers about not just throw everything at the wall.
We're mainly interested in awesome looking hobbyist stuff, retro remakes and curiosities but hey, try us. You never know. We like games.
Whilst we make a lot of effort to go out there and find games for ourselves (because it's fun and you catch stuff you don't find elsewhere or from people who are too scared to mail us), we'll take a look at stuff sent in also.
So, if you're looking for a post... videos, screenshots, playable builds. Especially playable builds. They're great. You don't need to ask "would we like one?", it's pretty safe to assume that's a "yes".
