Who/What are we?
OW:Videogames is/was Retro Remakes and is ran by Rob. We post about videogames that we like and think you might like too. Our only criteria is that we like at least one thing about it.
Want to drop us a line about something? mail Rob. He's slow but he gets there in the end.
owVideogames is dedicated to the memory of Steve Phelps aka The Toker and is produced with the utmost of thanks to [JJ].

Get Posted!
Got a game you think we might like and want to post about? Want to know how to get it posted here?
1. Have something for us to show and post about.
Videos, screenshots, playable builds. Give us a reason to want to post about it and give us something to post. We're mainly interested in awesome looking hobbyist stuff, retro remakes and curiosities but hey, try us. You never know. We like games.
2. Get in touch!
You can tweet me, mail me, rail me. No, don't rail me.
3. Be nice! We like nice!
Being nice is *so* much better than just firing off a generic press release and more likely to entice us to have a gander at your stuff.

Came for the remakes, only want the remakes?
That's ok, we've preserved all the Retro Remakes posts for all time and the drop list of remakes will continue to function and be added to should any more pass through our doors.
Retro Remakes posts 2010-2012.

Hell Racer

Hell Racer is Zagan Warrior is 3D Deathchase on the Commodore 64. 3D Deathchase is the best thing. Commodore 64 owners finally have the best thing.
Took a while but you got there in the end, eh?
I’ll be in the bunker caressing a CPC464 and looking wistful if anyone wants me.
Here’s a link and here’s a video.
Simply Dead: Soulless

C64 dream(y) team, Smila and Georg reunite once more with a new and very nice looking beast of a thing for the C64.
Lots and lots of info over at Psytronik including a look at the packaging and the when and where’s of how you can get your grubby mits on it.
A pretty video follows.
Thanks to @justonemoregame for the nudge.
The Wicked Father

…is a swimming bastard simulator for the Atari 2600. And there’s no finer description for a game than that.
I love this with all my heartses. You’ll probably be needing Stella if you don’t have it already, oh, and a link. Here is a link.
Monkey Island Adventure

Caught by ever vigilant eyes of the world Mr Gnome (who is lovely), here’s a turn up for the books indeed.
Monkey Island Adventure is what happens when someone has the bright idea of using the GAC to bring Monkey Island to the ZX Spectrum.
Something we heartily approve of.
According to the blurb it was started in 1999 and has been dusted off and will hopefully be ready for November. Which is nice as that’s sort of around time for my birthday.
Other presents are welcome.
In the meantime there’s a demo you can play right this very nowthing. Go on then.
