Ugh.. It's lovely and sunny, but a dodgy tummy has made me stay inside all day.  The only good thing is it's let me improve the routine some more and increase the sprites to 12 x 12 which gives them a bit more detail and makes them look more interesting too. |

Yeah we need an option for old and new versions. Or... I guess I could just use both. A lot of them look more like faces in the new one (and better suited as Rogue-like graphics), but not as cute I think. |

Ah, you got me. I actually tried Wumpus straight off, but wasn't pleased with the response. Fortunately some others in the Wumpus family looked rather good.
I want the source code for this thing. Does it happen to be C/C++? Willing to let me feature it? Even if not, I want the source code. Imagine the fun of generating 1000 enemies from a text file.

Thanks guys! Nice to see all the new images after coming home from work. The code is C with Allegro and I will make it available after cleaning it up a bit. I was planning of putting this (and more enhancements / options) into Pixe (eventually!) anyway. IF anyone uses the gfx for a Rogue game, then let me know! |
