This is close to completion now. I'll be releasing a BETA on to this thread in the coming days that I want to guys/guinea pigs to play around with and let me know of any problems, just got a small handful of uodates to do first.
In the meantime, a couple more screenshots. This first is the current title screen - obviously my graphical limitations become painfully obvious here, so if there's any graphical wiz out there who'd like to make a better version for me (but keeping the same motif of two brothers facing off) and get their name on the game then please do.
The other screenshots shows how there's now 'weather' (rain and snow) in the Feudiverse. It doesn't directly effect anything, but is there for a distraction and a nice effect (and they look beter in motion rather that stills).

Ah, the curse of Feud. I have fallen to it myself before, with both a more traditional straight remake and a version of MultiFeud I was experimenting with. But now it shall definitely be broken as it's practically finished.
A sound free version will be released in the next few days for feedback purposes - if anyone knows of any good sites to get free sounds from then let me know and i'll see about putting some in.
Not sure if Infamous is reading this thread or not, but if so didn't you have some Feud music that you posted on my previous Feud thread? If so would you mind posting it again and letting me use it?
And thanks to Lobo for the title screen - much appreciated.

Okay - to prove it will get finished, here is an early version.
I know there are still some problems with it, but i'm eager to find out if people spot them, come across them or find new ones. If you could post any bugs/feedback then I would be most grateful as this is a pain to test on my own (does Leanoric do mental, does the game freeze etc).
Some things to note: - When reporting a bug, could you attach a screenshot. - There is currently no sound. - The DEBUG info can be toggles on or off with the spacebar - please only post bugged screenshots that have this info turned on please - The controls cannot be redefined yet - There is no End Game
Controls are Arrow Keys to move, Ctrl to fire, Z and X to toggle through spells. To mix a spell stand behind a cauldron with the spell selected and press FIRE. To cast a spell it must be selected, then press FIRE.
- I just wrote the above and realised I can't attach the game due to the attachemnt size limit. Damn.

http://www.freesound.org/Check that for soundfx. Hmm, didn't know about the Feud curse but I know about Trap Door curse. Seen a few versions before never finished including some dude making it all 3d (looked nice) but obviously never to be.

I have a semi working Trapdoor game. I had to halt development temporarily as the chance of a life-long ambition (well, yearning) came up and it was a case of miss this and it'll never come up again. So I went for it and Impossible Mission is looking absolutely lovely  It will see the light of day though, as I've invested an awfullot of time and money into it, and it should be a bit more than just a normal remake.

Now that I think of it..wasn't someone making it for the compo? Maybe I'm just imagining it now. However, something 'freshly' introduced in Trap Door remake would be sweet (don't ask me what, though). If it would look as good as IM, then frickin' that much better!

Very nice, finally I can see the mad brother from the distance instead of bumping into him. Like the debug mode, hehe, you should leave it for the final. Leanoric seems to follow his pattern nice and executes the spells fine, collisions work too. I had only one random freeze and occasional slowdowns when advancing the map. Rain doesn't seem to slowdown anything, just reaching the new areas seems to stutter things but no other problems so far.
EDIT: Oh, wait, just as I was typing this, Leanoric got himself stuck in a loop trying to pick up Bind Weed at the bottom left (where dude in red is walking around).

Yeah, i've seen that problem before - for some reason it's not registering that the herb was collected and keeps trying to go for it. I'll have to poke the code with a stick to see what moves.
Added new 'on fire' graphics when struck by a fireball.

Being stuck on the herb might get you a warning the first time - but if he gets caught on the herb again he's looking at 5 years in the slammer.

I haven't! Ironically, I was one of those that fell foul of the "Feud Curse" - twice, really, as I was doing Feud and a Mini Feud both at the same time - purely because of the fact that with a mini feud, I could see so much more of the maze, and get a better idea of what the AI was doing before transplanting it into it's full sized cousin
