Finally got around to playing this on my DS, and I have to say it is fantastic.

My biggest gripe isn't so much with the game, but the DS, as you tend to forget about the top screen and focus on the bottom, adding that you forget that it is possible to move into the top screen half of the time.

I've made my way up to level 7 so far, but only did 1-5 in one go before accidentally following a mine with my ship wiping out all the health I had.

Titlescreen scroller was quite informative too Smiley

Really pleased you like it!

It is a shame that the DS screens are not closer together, but feedback suggests that you do get used to the 'space'. There was a bit of chat going on about this issues on retrobytesportal.com, and you can see why we ended up sticking to this method.

I've read through a fair few of the posts there, and like Lobo mentioned, you do have an annoying habit of trying to compensate for the gap between the screens and expect things to take longer to appear, so the sudden appearance of objects takes you by surprise a few times Smiley

Still, looks like I need to play more games to match some of the people there Cheesy

I'll also have to give the original C64 version a go as well, as I must admit that Warhawk was one of the games I never actually got back in the day.
