Is "cat's pyjamas" a common phrase where you live Maupin? Round these parts, we say "cat's whiskers" We really don't get many cats in pyjamas round here. Cats in hats are quite common, but not cats in pjs.

Not a common phrase, but still rarely said and usually understood by lots of people.  It's like saying "the bee's knees."  If you want to sound so hip that you're stuck in the 1920's it's a good expression.  "Cat's meow" is another.

I may have heard the "cat's whiskers" before but to my mind it sounds less popular.

I suppose most possessions a cat carries around are awesome just by point of fact that a cat bothers enough to own them.  (Exceptions apply.)

We just added some new things.

-a new look for the verbs in the bottem Panel ( screenshots coming soon )
-a funktion for quicker game flow, like in Monkey island 1. Right mousebutton will highlight verbs like "open" on automatic, if you move the cursor over a door, for example
-Falling leaf is lying on the Floor in outside rooms, and there are some leafs flying around. ( Pegamode implementet a dynamic wind effekt )
-a new player model is ready ( Bernhard )
-Some new animations ( new Walkcyle ) are done but not ingame jet
-First Talkie tests were done, with my Doughter ( 18 Months old ) Speaking Dave ( Sounds very funny. Dave doing Babytalk    )

Here some pictures with the new lights Pegamode build in.
If the power is shuted down, the only light is coming from candles, fireplaces and moonlight falling throuh doors and windows.
If the Player comes into a dark room from a room with lights on next to it, the light will shine through the open door or the trapdoor or whatever opening is connecting them.

Yeah I find that hard to understand too, its been what 60 odd years? its one of those things that probably will never go away like racismn.

Uhm, how old are you ? Didn`t your grandma or grandpa tell you about the horrors of war from their first-hand experience ? Weren`t your parents kids during WW2 ? Then they could VERY expressively compare their youth with yours.

And 60 years ? Come on ! You make it sound like it`s 300 years, whereas there are still lost of people around who still remember it first-hand. And will for next 20 years, at least.

Over 20 MILLION peole have been killed during WW2, another tens of millions have suffered enormously and/or have had their life ruined just because of the German "whose name shalt not be spoken".

Not recognizing this is an ignorance at the very least.

No one in their rightest mind can expect this to change over the course of just next few decades. We can have this discussion in, say, 2030 and see how much has changed.

Don`t get me wrong, I do not have anything personal against Germans. But the historical burden they carry over from generation to generation is, obviously, indisputable.

My son is 6 yrs old. He recognizes about 4 different nations in Europe. You can guess which nation is the one he can talk about the most

@joe1024:  Please lets just Talk about the Game. The War thing is something we all have to prevent of happening again. But i Refuse to apolagize for a Crime i have not done, just becouse i am German. I think thats understandable.
So back to the Game! And theres some news about it: it might be coming a Demo version in February, but thats somthing be are discusing at the moment.
However the game will be Renamed for the Demo becouse we are use it fpr a contest and the rules make us change the name to "Meteor Mess 3D", buts thats only for the contest.

Sorry, but the Demo will ( at first ) be in German only, becouse it is a German contest and we have not had the time to do the translation.
Maybe there will come an english demo, short after.

Good News:

There is an English Version of the Demo in the Making. Hopefully we can make the Translation in Time to Publish, both versions the same day.
I dont know yet, if there will be two versions or one with an option to choose. We build the game for Multilenguage, so i think it will be more likely an "Choose" version.
We will answer that Question soon i think.
