Love it. It looks even better and seems to have much improved collision detection.
However, I noticed that one one of the switches were triggered before you touched it.

I love the "old movie" look. Smiley

Thanks, yeah 'plan zee' oughta work for collisions now, couldn't find a problem with it so now it's up to building the rest. As for the switches, it could be a video lag (it happens on a two/three places) cause the switches can't be activated without touching them. They do have the 'touch area' a bit larger than the actual switch on purpose so it makes it easier to actually turn them on.

One thing though, you've seen the video, right? But..I can't see the link to it below that previous post or the first post where I've also put it? Is my browser nutty or what? :0

I see it now, pheew, had to install the latest 3.5.5 ffox and I swear it was installed before?!
Nutty!

Ah, Sokurah, you were right about one switch (on 'Worm of Rhine' level), it didn't self activate but the 'touchy area' was much lower and to the right so it could be activated from the far distance, fixed now! Cheesy

Looks great!! A couple of things though. Are there going to be different enemy designs? Also, colour wise they are pretty close to Horace. Perhaps different coloured versions per level would make each level look more different.

They will probably all be ghosts even though I had the idea of incorporating bats and spiders too. It's sort of based on 'Mystic Woods' kinda feel (albeit distorted Tongue) where I think the ghosts are the only enemies. As for the color, Yeah, I'll see about that on later levels.

EDIT: I meant to say, yeah, I'll probably add spiders and bats (if not chickens) later too. Tongue

Ohyea! As Chairman Mao would say "贺拉斯是"!
Meaning - "Horace adventures..forward!"

The newest version with 'zee' collision and at least 10 levels will be released soonish so anyone interested should wait for that one (in about 16 years, dog years).

I still install last bists, but hope finish or usable in this week, but until just use the russia music as well. Even not all might like it, I think it still workable for the game. I gonna think something like style using the Goonie level, but with more russia/etnisk instruments? I would play something like that.

For games 128kbit is a nice quality, and the song not need to been long, so it would not been a 10mb, but somewhere 2-3mb, unless I use few instruments and can done a XM version of it.

Here game seen more more nice done :-D

Hey!! Where you from Lobo? You known where I from :-D

Yesh, Russian, Iceland-ish, Bavarian, Danish, this or that ethnic and such. Romani music would qualify as well, check for instance Taraf de Haidouks (youtube got some), they're excellent, stuff like that. Use as much instruments as needed but Accordion should be the lead instrument like in this current theme in game.

As for the length, yeah, nothing too long really, current theme is almost 3 minutes, you can make less than half of that in a nice loop or something.

I told you before - Chicago, when you guys were talking about Sokurah being a white collar worker by day and breaking up the gangs of Helsinki by afternoon (and boozing until blue at night).  Smiley
