One of my most played Atari 2600 games and Mat Smith loved it too. It looks LOVELY. It makes me think "16-bit home computer" which is a good thing - it wouldn't look out of place on my battered and well loved Atari ST.  |

it does have elements of the original, but it is different. i loved the original, but when you go back and play them nowdays, they are pretty basic and were limited in what the hardware would allow.
it keeps the fixed jump, as it definently adds to the challenge of where you can jump to.
most of the special things that were part of miner are there in some form - and more.

It does look like a Atari ST game. Unfortunatly (and obviously I'm in a minority) the gfx don't work so well for me in terms of what I remember the original as being. I would prefer more updated (but in a retro style) versions of the original gfx.
However, that's just my personal opinion, there is nothing wrong with the art.
